BULMERS (FREE) LIVE MUSIC at The Tall Ships Races 2012 Dublin
The Tall Ships Races are coming back to Dublin and Bulmers is doing its bit by bringing four days of free, live music and entertainment to the capital, for what is to be the biggest summer festival of 2012. From 23rd - 26th August, The Tall Ships Races 2012 – Dublin will feature the Bulmers Live Music Stage at George's Dock, with a stellar line-up that includes Ash; Cathy Davey; The Undertones; Duke Special; Ryan Sheridan; The Minutes; Delorentos; Jerry Fish; Dublin Gospel Choir and many more. The second musical layer will see a number of local bands perform, free-of charge, in various pubs throughout Dublin city centre, as part of the Bulmers Live Music Trail. To celebrate the Tall Ships Races 2012 partnership, Bulmers provided one lucky competition winner a place aboard a Class A tall ship sailing between A Coruna, Spain and Dublin. The winner will be on board for the experience of a lifetime and will arrive in time for all the festivities and free live music. In addition to the free live music, Bulmers is also supporting the festival's Food Theatre at Linear Park, a food lover's paradise, which will feature food demonstrations and displays, artisan food produce and food markets. Visitors can sample Irish and international cuisine, chill out on picnic benches and soak up the atmosphere as Dublin hosts this incredible, maritime event. Forbidden Fruit
June BH weekend 2012 saw the second multi staged music festival Forbidden Fruit, take place in Dublin city centre in the sumptuous grounds of IMMA. The site, constructed in the shape of an apple, immortalised the key ingredient behind Bulmers. A collaborative fusion of music, art, the main aligned to the Core Bar: the ‘Original Stage’ nestled in a natural amphitheatre, the Bulmers Berry ‘Undergrowth Tent’, the Bulmers Light ‘Lighthouse Tent’ and the Bulmers Pear ‘Pear-Shaped Tent’ all offering the best in music entertainment with acts to-date such as Leftfield, The Flaming Lips, New Order, Aphex Twin, Bloody Beetroots, Ham Sandwich, Jape, Aeroplane and many many more. Body&Soul
A festival full of suprises. Body&Soul began as a small gathering of people interested in art, music, performance, holistic arts, community and creative expression. It has since grown steadily in to a heartfelt platform bringing together artists and musicians alike at Ballinlough, Co. Meath – offering a louder voice for emerging performers and creatives to showcase their work, in a more intimate and imaginative capacity. Through programming, support of the arts, workshops, music policy and respect for the Planet, Body&Soul hopes to inspire a new approach to a weekend festival, where atmosphere takes precedence – and where an ancient celebration is reawakened in a contemporary light – bringing life to the Bulmers orchards and castle surrounds, and a unique experience to all festival goers. Bulmers is proud sponsor once again of the Clonmel Busking Festival. Taking place over 9th-12th August, festival-goers will see a host of top Irish musicians play in pubs throughout Clonmel town.
